As far back as I can remember, I have always had difficulty living by someone's else's rules.  My need for approval from others was great and I had no idea who I was.  My childhood was unstable and loneliness was familiar.  Not being close to my parents was painful.   My father came into my life for the first time at age 30.

It seemed my whole existence was a lie.  My marriage failed, God was absent, and I was dying inside.  Even my religious experiences couldn't help me from chronic depression.  Alcohol became my God.  It took over my whole life.  God took away my compulsion to drink 7 years ago.  He has restored me to sanity, given me peace, and my will and life are now His.
