About Small Groups

Small Groups are dedicated to the vision that everyone at LSA participates in a Small Group - an environment where both personal spiritual growth and discipleship can be nurtured.

As a church, LSA is committed to helping each person become more like Jesus Christ in both character and conduct.  We believe that the signficant ways that we as Christians develop spiritual maturity are:

Commitment to God

• Creating the environment where we are developing intimacy with God.
• Growing together as we mirror Jesus' actions in our lives
• Interact with God's Word in order to apply it to our lives
• Learn about and experience the power of prayer at work

Community and Contribution with those inside the family of God

• a community where we truly experience God's love
• Build meaningful relationships that provide both affirmation and accountability
• Share honestly and openly with others, in a confidential atmosphere of God's truth and grace

Communication of the Good News

• To discover our call to service in God's Kingdom, encouraging each other for the good of the world
• Serve together in a place of need, where lives become congruent to the "way of Jesus"

Small Groups are an integral part of our Church community. With over 90 Small Groups and 120 group leaders, we have a place for you: Men's, Women's, Singles, Married Couples, Newly Married Couples, and Mixed Groups.
